Fireworks and Flowers
So last year I saw this shot of fireworks that was unlike anything I had ever seen. The photographer filled the frame with the explosion, but instead of keeping it in focus the entire time he moved his focus ring during the shot! This allowed for the fireworks to come into/out of focus as the explosion progressed, creating some REALLY unique shots!
He is the only person I have ever seen use this technique. Justifiably so, because let me tell you - it is SO DIFFICULT!! Oh my gosh. I think I shot about 300 photos in that half hour show, and came out with like seven ok shots. Tell me what you think!
Also, last week I shot some photos of flowers at the Sherwood Nature Reserve. I like them. I hope you do to.
Lastly, quick update on my life for those of you I don't talk to often: 1. Something is wrong with my electrical circuit in my car, which means my headlights don't work. I got pulled over because of this though, and I found out that: 2. My license was suspended without my knowledge because my insurance company didn't send an SR22 when they were supposed to. I hope I can get it back tomorrow. 3. I'm moving tomorrow!! This is good news. I'll be at this place for a year minimum, they are some of my favorite people on the planet, and it's close to work!
There you have it. My life is a little bit of chaos right now, but I'm fine with that. Keeps me busy I guess.
